Our announcement of the shortlist will be put out throughout the day on our social media accounts with an individual post for each nominee under the hashtag #ethnicityawards.

All business nominees will be announced on the day by 5PM. As mentioned, all content is under strict embargo until 9AM on the day of the announcement, upon which you are welcome to make your own personal, or company posts regarding the nomination.

At 9AM, nominee biographies and images will be viewable on our website also. Please note that we cannot make amendments to biographies and images on the day of the launch due to the server.

If you have any social media accounts you would like us to tag in this content, particularly LinkedIN or Instagram, please contact the team to confirm this. Each post will have an accompanying standardised graphic (example below) using the image or logo that you have submitted. If you have not submitted an image or a logo, please urgently send one through to admin@ethnicityawards.com

About the awards

The Ethnicity Awards  shines a spotlight on inspirational people from ethnic minority backgrounds, and those working tirelessly to improve the lives of Ethnic Minority groups in Britain. Our winners will be announced during our live ceremony and on corresponding social media on 2 November in London.

Last year’s public category winners included Alison Hammond, Alex Scott, Lenny Henry and cricketer Azeem Rafiq.

Our business categories are determined via a judging committee based upon submitted evidence. Outstanding Employer is determined by the Investing in Ethnicity Maturity Matrix.
